When I bought this pretty 17th century “Chartreuse» in 1996, it was surrounded by a four hectares vineyard, in the A.O.C. Graves and the cellar used to be below the “Chartreuse”. We immediately built a modern vat room benefiting from the ultimate technology. (Temperature control ...).
As years went by and as sales rose our wine property grew to become 20 hectares worth with a production of 120 000 bottles of which a quarter of white wine. It is a charming spot hugged by a pretty river called the Gat Mort and only 1km away from the Garonne river whose tide effects we feel during the equinox. Tree bedrooms are set in the “Chartreuse” to welcome the warm company of our clients.
